Inside the app
Chat: Bible questions, answered with the passages
Ask anything about the Bible and get a clear, short answer that shows the verses behind it, so you can read them yourself.

Answers you can check
- Passages shown. Every answer lists the passages it rests on. Tap one to read it in its chapter.
- Checked. Automated checks review answers, and some answers also receive a separate AI review. These checks can miss mistakes, so read the passages when accuracy matters.
- Honest about disagreement. Where Christians disagree, Chat explains the relevant views and sources. On same-sex marriage and gender identity, it presents historic Christian teaching and names the affirming reading as a minority view among evangelicals.
- AI, not a person. Chat is designed not to impersonate God, Jesus, a pastor or another person. It can still make mistakes.
How much you can ask
Two answers a day are free; Skies Premium gives you twenty. Extra personal prayers beyond your free daily one come from the same total. Answers that fail, and safety replies, never count, and the total resets at midnight.
When it matters most
When Chat recognises that you may be in danger, it stops and shows urgent help: in the US, call 911 in an emergency, or call or text 988 if you are thinking about suicide. It can miss the signs, and nobody monitors the app, so please call yourself if you need help; the help button on Today is always there. It is not a counsellor, a doctor or a substitute for your church.
Questions people ask
Which AI does Skies use?
Chat uses an OpenAI model, with automated checks that review answers. Your message is sent only after you give permission. How our AI works.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. That is why every answer shows its passages: read them in their chapter, and bring important questions to someone you trust in your church.
